I signed up for my apartment well before Jalcon had even started the build. I am not normally a risk taker, let alone buying off outline plans, and I often ask myself why I did this! The reason is two part.
One is that it is Jalcon, it’s a no-brainer – they are a reputable building company and they build beautiful homes. I have admired their homes for many years and that gave me the reassurance and confidence that I was doing the right thing with the right company.
The second is the location. Milldale is a new area being developed over the next few years, well thought out, beautifully presented and well maintained. I studied the master plan on the Milldale website and so felt fully informed of what would be built around me.
When I moved into my completed apartment, I could not be happier. The apartment is modern, well-finished and architecturally designed which sets them apart from others, I think. Every space has been carefully thought through and utilised to its maximum potential, with a fabulous modern palette and decor.
Being across from the park’s “oval” means that my view will never be built out and my view is spectacular – a rarity in today’s market of high-density housing.
The word “apartment” can have negative, often blinkered ideas probably brought about by the large apartment complexes in the central city that have caused problems over the years, for many different reasons. The Jalcon apartments in Milldale are “boutique apartments”. They are warm, comfortable, and modern with natural light and airy rooms throughout.
I love that my apartment “tower” is standalone and not joined to a multi-faceted complex. It really does feel like a home, just with a better view and no maintenance!
The breezeways are clean and fully functional, offset with attractive planter boxes. Each apartment has its own entryway that feeds from either the lift or stairs. The storage lockers supplied are ample and watertight, which allows me to free up wardrobe space inside. The rubbish area is neat and well sectioned off. Pretty much everything has been thought about.
